Christmas 2025 at Buckle My Shoe!

Over December, we have been very busy exploring, learning, and getting ready for Christmas! 🎄✨ We began by spreading Christmas spirit throughout Buckle My Shoe – decorating the centre with our little ones’ artwork, tinsel, and of course – a Christmas tree. 🎨🎀🎄

Our tamariki were involved in a range of festive experiences – including creating Santa portraits 🎅, making special Christmas cards for their loved ones 💌, and even preparing a delicious snack of Rudolph pancakes – yum! 🥞🦌 These activities helped to support their creativity, fine motor skills, and a sense of celebration and togetherness. ❤️

Throughout November and December, we also spent time practising for our very special Christmas concert 🎶🎤. Watching and listening to our little ones sing the songs and quickly memorise the actions was truly amazing 🌟 – at Buckle My Shoe, we certainly have some natural performers! 🥰🎵

After all their hard work, we finally celebrated with our annual Buckle My Shoe Christmas Party last week. 🎉🎄 Following the wonderful performances, we were lucky to receive a very special visitor – the one and only Santa Claus! 🎅🎁 He arrived with a big sack full of presents for our tamariki. 🎁✨

Everyone waited patiently to hear their name called before heading up to receive their gift – such a magical moment. ✨🌟
